Five new consumer products that utilize nonwoven fabrics in an innovative manner have been nominated as finalists for the 2013 Visionary Award. Now in its 12th year, the Visionary Award – which is given annually to a new consumer product that utilizes nonwoven fabrics in its final form – will be presented at the VISION 2013 Consumer Products Conference, to be held January 28-31, 2013 at the Rosen Centre Hotel in Orlando, FL. The finalists will make presentations during VISION 2013 and conference attendees will vote on the recipient of the 2013 Visionary Award. The annual VISION Conference is organized by INDA, Association of the Nonwoven Fabrics Industry, and each year it brings together executives from nonwovens and consumer products companies for three days of industry leading information and networking. The five finalists are: 1. Company: Diversitech Product: Diversitech Merv 8+ and Diversitech Merv 9. The pleated filter is constructed using a proprietary over-molding process.
